After the excitement of the holidays I know I have been itching to get back into the medieval swing of things and as such I have come up with a task for you to attempt. I realize it can be difficult to make meetings regularly due to distance, prior engagements and, at this time, weather so this is something you can do at home. I ask that everyone take some time and create a simple calligraphy project. Take a letter, word, or short phrase that you like or admire and make it beautiful. I am asking any who can make it to the March event to bring their piece and we can display the works of the scribal guild. This is a small project that can be worked on at home or if you want to team up that would be wonderful as well. Be creative and enjoy the process.
